Eating and Growing Local with Maggie Bowling

Growing and Eating Local with Maggie Bowling

On this episode of The Hollercast, we sat down and talked to Maggie Bowling.

Maggie and her husband Will own Old Homeplace farm in Oneida, Kentucky. The farm’s mission is to provide families with delicious, healthy meats and vegetables at an affordable price. They provide grass-fed and naturally-grown vegetables to southern and eastern Kentucky.

Maggie grew up on a vegetable farm and her husband’s family has been raising cattle for years. She’s passionate about providing her customers with fresh, locally grown foods while still maintaining the integrity of the land that it was grown on.

We sat down with Maggie to talk to her about her story, the farm’s business model, and the importance of this type of farming.
